TEXTILES TIMELAPSE

To give you an opportunity to view some of the fantastic facilities on offer in our textiles department, our Level 6 (third year) students let the cameras in to allow a timelapse to be created while they worked.

Nine of our students had been working on an eight colour seperation repeat for a couple of months as part of their studies, which they filmed the printing of to show the light and bright facilities on offer within the department – our National Student Survey results show that students think the facilities and individual work bays on offer are what makes our textiles courses stand apart from others.

Each of the nine participating students put a drawing in to the project and worked together to produce the design, colours, screens, koda traces and print.
