Riding a bike is cool, however those safety necessities that can save your life, aka helmets, are universally deemed not so popular, especially amongst Gen-Y. Stats generally scare the pants off anyone, and these ones are especially awful; a child suffers a serious head injury every five hours. Yikes.

So in an attempt to combat this, Simon Higby and Clara Prior Knock at DDB thought up the idea of having a novelty helmet in the style of a lego figure’s hair, something fun and quirky which may seem a little like a dress-up game rather than a safety precaution. These guys then worked with design company MOFF to 3D print a prototype, and we’ve got to say, what an ingenious idea!
