CONNOR DORRIAN, FREELANCE ARTIST (ACTOR, PLAYWRIGHT, FACILITATOR)
Since graduating, I have continued to develop ‘A Moving Still’ after winning Live Theatre’s under-26 North East Playwright award, with the aim of moving it towards production. As well as developing other projects (including a theatre company, BrainSoup collective). I have been a theatre facilitator for young people at Live Theatre CYPP, Live Tales and now Sunderland Culture. Most recently, I finished the tour ‘It’s Not Ok’ by Night-Light Theatre & the NSPCC as an actor/facilitator around North Yorkshire after previously touring Teesside at the start of the year. Finally, I will have my first poem published next year as part of New Writing North’s ‘Scraps’ – a collection of writing by young northern voices.
