Following on from Illustration lecturer Amy Dover’s October 2015 accolade of teaming up with World Animal Protection on their Animals not Entertainers campaign. Amy, who has worked with clients such as M&S, Urban Outfitters, Red Bull and exhibited internationally can now boast seeing her designs on the cover of Elle Decoration.
Amy’s image of a dead bird can be seen on the cover of the January 2016 UK Edition of Elle Decoration, in which they reveal their essential shopping and ‘champion homes with great individuality, from maximalism to Danish zen.’
Amy depicts melancholic and ephemeral glimpses of another worlds in her work. Evoking the folk tales, mythology, and fables of her childhood, Amy weaves tales of loss, failure, greed, and deceit. Her work has been shown in exhibitions in Los Angeles, London, Portland and Switzerland. Amy has also worked on commercial commissions in fashion, music, editorial, and advertising.
