It is almost time for Wintertide 2017, which is a weekend celebration of art, entertainment and activities for the whole family on The Headland, Hartlepool.

This years celebration happens on the weekend of 24th-26th November and has a massive programme of events .  We are particularly excited for the Projected Exhibition which is curated by BloomInArt NorthEast CIC.

The ‘We are part of the art’ exhibition includes some familiar names on the North East arts scene including two of our lecturers, Tony Charles of fine art and Amanda Smith of art and design and access.

The Outdoor Projected Exhibition will be shown on the evenings during Wintertide at the Duke of Cleveland Public House .

In addition to this, our immensely talented Amanda will be leading an illustration workshop, hosted at the Headland Library through her successful business, Mandascat

Family friendly workshop for which is aimed to encourage family creativity and fun drawing techniques to develop ideas and communicate  ideas into images and pictures around the theme of Butter Pirates. It is aimed at ages 6 -12 and costs £2 per child. You can book by clicking on this link
