An award-winning fashion designer whose work has featured on Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Claudia Schiffer, Victoria Beckham and Lorde is the next speaker in The Northern School of Art‘s #CreativeCareers session.

Dr. Nabil El-Nayal, who runs his own successful fashion label ‘NABIL NAYAL’, is appearing in the online event on Wednesday 21 April from 13:00 – 14:00

Nominated for the LVMH Prize in 2015 and 2017, Nabil was also the winner of the British Fashion Council’s Fashion Trust for two years running. His garments have been worn by many celebrities and the highly-renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld previously commissioned Nabil to make a shirt for his muse and collaborator Amanda Harlech.

In 2020, Nabil, who lived in Syria until the age of 14, also designed the first ever Choose Love t-shirt where Choose Love appears both in English and in Arabic. The initiative featuring signature slogan t-shirts by charity Help Refugees has raised millions to support displaced and vulnerable communities since it began in 2015.
