Level 5 BA (Hons) Illustration for Commercial Application students were asked to draw on the windows of Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art to support the #saveoursteel campaign which originated on  Teesside.

Up to 15,000 workers risk losing their jobs as the national steel industry fights for survival. The Save Our Steel campaign calls on Government to take decisive action to protect and revive British steel plants – before it’s too late. In order for mima to show solidarity with the steel workers of Teesside, they asked our exceptionally talented illustrators to develop a bespoke window mural which did exactly this.
