Foundation Art Prize finalists announced!

The shortlist of finalists for The Northern School of Art’s Foundation Art Prize has been unveiled.

Work of thirteen young creatives was selected to go forward to the final judging process from a total of over 90 entries submitted to the competition.

The list of finalists is as follows:

    • Jenny Hardcastle, Middlesbrough

    • Emily Mooney, Healing, NE Lincolnshire
    • Katie Peacock, Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough
    • Josh Pine, Stanley, Co Durham
    • Iris Raine, Darlington, County Durham
    • Henri Readman, Spennymoor, County Durham
    • Oliver Redman, Morpeth, Northumberland
    • Yeseniia Serdiuk, Hull

Overseen by the UAL Foundation Diploma in Art & Design course based at the School’s Middlesbrough campus, the prize offered a cash prize of £250 for the winner with two runners up prizes of £50 vouchers for creative materials.

The submissions by the shortlisted candidates are being exhibited at the School’s prestigious Summer Show at its campus in Newport Road, Middlesbrough which is open to the public from June 13 – June 19th. To book a viewing slot click HERE
