The Northern School of Art campuses in Middlesbrough and Hartlepool are closed to students on 2-3-18 due to travel conditions.
As we are the only specialist art college in the North East, our students travel time can often be quite long, therefore after consultation with our bus services and information from other local institutions, the decision has been taken to ensure that our students stay as safe as possible.
We have decided that the campuses are open to staff.
This is based on the overnight situation and current travel information.
So, if staff can get in safely, they are asked to do so. If they are uncertain or conditions mean that it is impossible to travel then they must contact their manager.
