On Friday 19th October, national theatre company, Frantic Assembly ran a movement workshop for the acting students. This award winning, leading company are the movement directors behind The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. Frantic focuses on inspiring innovative practice and unlocking creative potential and the students had a really inspiring afternoon. Their workshop included contact improvisation, lifts and ways to create story physically.

Danni Faye Clarke was one of the students present at the workshop, she told us, “I’ve studied Frantic Assembly and watched their plans for years so when I got told they were coming in to do a workshop with us I was beyond excited! We learnt how to do lifts without straining ourselves, which looked incredible. We got taught how to make something profound out of nothing and all creating stunning meaningful movement pieces which we never thought we’d be capable of at the start.”
