Following on from Alyson’s summer exhibition in Berlin, the popular The Northern School of Art lecturer is set to exhibit at Middlesbrough’s House of Blah Blah with a private view scheduled for Thursday 22nd October – which will bring CCAD’s Big Draw Drawing Room to a close.
Alyson’s Solid Paradise Exhibition is a compendium of observations taken in response to unknown places through polaroid photography. Illusory colours, apparitional lighting and the loss of form leaves the images open to interpretation; allowing the construction of a new and unknown dream-like narrative.
The exhibition will run at House of Blah Blah, Exchange House, Exchange Square, Middlesbrough from 22nd October to 26th November.
