BA (Hons) Graphic Design student James Flounders has recently collaborated with Australian fashion label On Our Own to bring to life a look-book through the media of animation. The black and white animations showcase various bespoke T-shirts from the Static Dreams collection as well as successfully illustrating the mood and vibes that the brand strives to communicate. The Modern Noire/ cinematic animations that James has created through motion graphics go hand in hand with the Brisbane-based brand’s website and Instagram.
Programme Leader Olivia Watson told me, “James is predominantly an illustrator, so it’s quite an inventive take on the traditional fashion look books!”
